Cutting Down Closet Time This Summer
The summer can be a challenging season to get dressed, for the best reasons. There are more colors, more prints, so many lengths and layers to play with, and far less rules to follow. Summer is our most playful season from a styling perspective. From cotton during the day to sequins at sunset, it all works. While we love all the options, they can easily become overwhelming. Perfect example, this morning I was hoping to go on a walk, but instead I spent most of my morning in my closet. I could have been spending it out in the park! We shouldn’t sacrifice sun for style! That’s why I put together this article to save us all time in the future!
Workdays and Weekdays
Some days, you’re going straight to work and then back home. If tomorrow is one of those days, try pairing our Alli Pant in Champagne with our Astor Top. Then, accessorize with our Christina Earrings – Wood/Crystals in Panto Wood & Rose Gold.
If you’re in the mood for a dress, try our Casey Dress in Ivory Narcissus and pair it with our Lydia Earrings in Ivory. Another option is our Rosa Dress in Midnight. This would look amazing with our Arielle Earrings in Ivory.
Sometimes, you need a chic day to night outfit, so that you can grab drinks with a friend right after work. You know our Rowen Pant in Chambray Blue would look great with our Keaton Top in Ivory. Add in our Alena Earrings in Powder Blue/White for a finishing touch!
But if you have the time to change before going out, you’ll definitely want to go with our silver-sequined Alli Pant and our Leta Top in Silver. For more sparkle, match this outfit with our Grapes Earrings in Silver. While we’re here to save you time in the closet, sometimes, the extra time it takes to change after work is worth it.
And finally, the weekend is truly the time to express yourself. No regulations, no rules, no dress code. In the summer heat, you want a dress that’s light and airy. My personal favorites are our Bryce Dress in Blue Gingham, our Moyer Dress in T’s Watercolor and our Calista Dress in Indigo/Ivory Garland.
But, like I said, the weekend is your time to shine. And while I’m a fan of my favorites, your favorites might differ. So spend a couple of minutes browsing through our styles. You won’t be disappointed!
